UK Vape Duty 2026: How it affects You

From 1st October 2026, a new UK vape duty will come into effect, and we want to make sure you know exactly what to expect.

From this date, all vape liquids, whether they contain nicotine or not, will have a set tax of £0.22 per millilitre, plus VAT. In simple terms, that means a 10ml bottle of eliquid will cost about £2.64 more than it does today.

You can read the official UK government information on the vape duty here.

How else will this affect vape liquids?

All vape liquids will also need to carry an official Duty Stamp, which seals the bottle or individual box. This stamp helps identify products that are legal, compliant, and safe, and makes it much easier to spot counterfeit products that could contain harmful or unsafe ingredients.

Why is this being introduced?

The government has brought in this change for a few key reasons:

  • To reduce underage access by making vapes less affordable and harder for young people to obtain
  • To align vaping with tobacco products, while still keeping vaping a more affordable alternative for smokers looking to move away from traditional cigarettes
  • To protect consumers, by making it easier to identify genuine, compliant products and avoid unsafe counterfeits

What does this mean for prices?

Unfortunately, this new tax affects everyone, including us, and it’s a cost that has to be paid on all vape liquids. This means prices across the board will increaseWe’ll always be transparent with you, and below you’ll find a breakdown of how this duty impacts our pricing.

A smarter way to vape…

The good news? We have a more cost – effective option moving forward. Our Longfills still include the duty, but because you mix them yourslef, they can work out significantly cheaper once the tax is applied.

Vape smarter, not pricier – it’s all about getting the best value while continuing to enjoy what you love.
